which colour to paint wall between kitchen and conservatory

Hi, I want to add colour to my kitchen but I am unsure which walls to paint. I have wall separating the kitchen and the conservatory which if I had my way we would knock through completely but that is to big of a job for now, I want to know, should I paint the whole wall between a darker colour or will that highlight the wall instead of blending it in. The kitchen units & worktop are light so want to add some interest. Alternatively should I leave it white and. Paint the wall at the side dark? I would really appreciate some advice before I paint.

I think it should be same colour as the other wall on left as it has kitchen tiles on it so think it should stay same.....unless you paint them all..

Update: We have the new glass roof which is made of the 1.0 u value glass, we don't know the u-vlaue of the other glass windows and we haven't added curtains or any of the other things we said we would do yet (though we discovered the walls already have insulation), but I am happy to say we have noticed a positive change. We still have doors and walls between the conservatory and the kitchen, but since putting in the new roof the temperature difference between the conservatory and the kitchen has gone from aprox 7 degrees Celsius to 2 degrees. Hopefully it will improve with furniture, cork flooring etc. GOod luck with your project. K

White vertical blinds are strictly for office use (and even then they're dated). Go for the grey. Roman blinds are softer then roller blinds.

We started repainting a quite old (10yrs+) pergola and attached bits and pieces with this paint/stain a couple of days ago - we used Sargasso Sea, a natural-looking sage-y colour that's a lot lighter than it looks on the chart (but maybe a bit dark for you). Enormously impressed with the finish, which seems really tough, and will hopefully last. We now have to decide on a coordinating colour for the shed and raised beds......

Hi Justin, what kind of door are you thinking? I've got a few ideas that might help you: Our London Composite Door is a fully glazed composite door, it's available in 11 colours and, as with most composites, it's extremely strong and efficient. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative we offer a very similar fully glazed uPVC Door which also looks great! Maybe you want something a little different? I think the highlight colour palette could be the blue of the conservatory furniture with the top notes of jade
