Choosing wood effect tiles for all white kitchen

Hi I have just ordered an all white handleless glossy white kitchen with white quartz worktop and splash back and looking for a flooring that will warm things up a little bit. I have chosen 5 candidates one being 60x60 concrete effect tile the others wood effect. Can’t decide to go for lighter or darker options ( also more/less yellow). Need help here.

Bottom photo and second up from the bottom. Go darker to add contrast.

I like the two nearest the white trainers! Both are warm. Definitely not grey, it’s cold and doesn’t look natural in wood-effect.

Hi Charlie. Porcelain superstore have ones called artisan white which are about the whitest I've found but are suitable for a herringbone pattern really which would be rather nice if using white!

Amtico and Karndean are very hard wearing and resistant to water if laid properly. The easiest way to Compare it's durability and hard wearing properties is by looking at Supermarket or m&s flooring, which is very similar. In terms of the colour you have selected, I think it is very light especially for a high traffic area and prone to getting mucky. with Karndean and Amtico, I think you do get what you pay. There is also moduleo (I think it's what it the brand is called) which supply LVT nd they do effects other than wood; I've had no personal experience but have seen it around. Good Luck

Hi Vandana, although we agree with some points Minipie mentioned, but we think glossy marble in the house is just beautiful. Concerns that it feels cold can easily be solved by installing underfloor heating. And the fact that is glossy, we agree it can be slippery, but in the living room we presume you will have a nice big rug to make it cozy and non-slippery, but in the kitchen, that glossy finish will make it much easier to clean the floor. I have a wood effect dark grey on white composite front door, but all the other doors and windows are smooth white upvc. I guess it comes down to preference and budget.

I like the one nearest trainers. Actually thinking of something similar myself. Would you mind telling me where this one is from and the name of it??

Another vote for the warmer wood colour nearest your trainers ;-)

Could be my screen but the other tiles look a little too grey and cold especially with an all white kitchen.

You could go for a Californian beach house look, with neutral natural textiles, wood, white, soft warm greys and beiges with muted colour accents. Studio McGee do interiors like that.

Thank you all, I will be taking your advice into account as I ended up agreeing with you. @Becci C the tiles are from Norden Tiles collection and the names are Totton and Sway (darker one)

I would go for the one nearest your trainers. The greyed wood would looks a bit too cool perhaps and warmer woods are classic and won't date.

I vote for the paler wood effect near your trainers, it looks very natural and realistic.
