Feature wallpaper but what curtains?
Comments (5)I quite like both of above ideas - perhaps combined. - Eg. textured gold velvet. Another option could be a nice airy neutral like ivory. If you want to cool the palette a little - depends on which wall colour you go for of course. If you go with a texture or pattern go with a smaller scale than the wallpaper pattern scale, Something gentle and subtle. If you go more neutral the ivory or cream might be nice with some texture. Just be aware darker the material on the window (rather than lighter colour) will take light from room. Good luck....See MoreBrown and copper wallpaper, but what colour paint?
Comments (2)Thanks Patrina, I was trying to steer away from grey as my last house had so much of it. Love the dusky pink but maybe as an accent colour rather than the walls? Don't want to overpower my other half ;)...See MoreWhat colour combination feature. wallpaper would look nice?
Comments (12)Hi P108 P What we know is that she is a teenager, and doesn't like pinks, but she likes greens and blues. Consider painting ceiling and walls in different colour than white - consult with her. Re feature wall - we spoke with our friends from Feature Wall Experts and they suggested this: https://www.designerwallpapers.co.uk/osborne-little/enchanted-gardens/rain-forest.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI9dCC9MnT4wIVibbtCh2OsgYmEAQYBCABEgJIOvD_BwE#green-wallpaper-tint-7 And said "The feature wall must be her favourite so it's really her room and her wall. What she loves, desires, dreams; fantasy, friends, travel, nature, education, etc. This piece of the room could inspire her, maybe calm her down, help focus." As you can see it all depends what you want to achieve. Home sweet home...doesn't that relate to the big picture? How much time she spends in her bedroom? Think about those too. Comments (12)Hi mollysue23, This is very helpful, thanks. Consider paintfing ceiling&coving and all woodwork one same colour. Brighter white, like Brilliant White or Pure Briliant White to achieve bright finish, but for more sophisticated interior go with off-whites, a colour that match (or be close) to the carpet's cream. While walls are flat, probably the best idea would be to paint them one colour. You could choose between pales and deeps from greys, browns, yellows and greens, even purples. However, you've asked for wallpaper so naturally go same direction, plain but coloured wallpaper. Something like https://www.designerwallpapers.co.uk/styles/vinyl-wallpapers/dublin-weave.html. The silver feature wall could be turned to gallery or art wall. Good luck! Paintforme...See More- 3 years ago
