Hotel 'dumb waiter' needs repair

We are a small hotel in Weymouth. We have an ancient 'dumb waiter' that has given many years of service. It is electronically operated, connecting our basement kitchen to our ground floor dining room. A few days ago, the steel cable snapped. The car fell about 6 feet down the shaft but is intact. The cable had not finished its upward cycle and I can't get the cable to lower. I don't have the expertise to do a repair. Can anyone help or suggest a company who might.

I would try looking for a local lift repair company, I’m sure some of them may be able to help?
