So I’ve been painting away for weeks now on and off to create a home office.
My father in law came and put the wallpaper up very kindly for me, but now I’m concerned the wallpaper and the paint don’t work well together!!!!!
Maybe once the carpet is down(light grey) it might feel like it will knit, but I’m concerned the grey paint (dulux cannonball) is to bluey to work.
Would welcome any help/suggestions

The sun comes through the window most of the day with it being a south facing window and in the morning sunrises on wall 4 and sets on wall 2. Comments (5)Hello Simon, I have a deal with extensions very often and I can say that the size of your extension will give you a massive space improvement. Although, I would never consider flat roof. Flat roof type is the cheapest to install and the easiest at the same time but it's not worthy of investment if you live in area with UK weather cast. Flat roof has extreme difficulty bearing heavy rain and in future will require your time and effort to maintain it in a good condition. Someone may say that any roof will require your attention after some time but flat roof will give you a ring sooner than any pitched roof. Comments (2)I would suggest going with either of the two main colours in the wallpaper - a third toning or contrasting colour would detract from the paper. Which one is best depends on what's happening in the rest of the room, but either will work. It's not wise to try and match colours from a computer screen, as they are not true, so the best bet is to take a sample to one of the DIY stores that have paint mixing services. Don't ask them to match the colour - in my experience this rarely works - but use the paint swatches against your sample to find a match. Take your time, and if you're unsure, go for the slightly lighter colour. I'd also take the nearest swatches outside and check them in daylight. Do get sample pots of paint when you've pinned one or two options down, as the swatches are printed not painted. Paint an A4 [or larger] piece of paper and stick both paper and paint next to each other on your walls. A faff I know, but the best way to ensure you don't make expensive mistakes. I think I would be looking for a contemporary four poster bed, choosing velvet and metallics for a lux feel but then teaming it with contemporary white textured furniture. (Images from the Next catalogue) For the same reason I also think that Chinese style white furniture also works. 2 years agoThe chairs green as well as it happens, and I think the light sometimes didn’t look right, but feel it’s really come together now. I’m aiming on some black frames on one wall, and some trailing plants on the shelf, but very welcome to any suggestions?
I was genuinely disappointed at the start, but now it seems to all tie in better
