Seal between Karndean and skirting board?

While repainting my woodwork I've spotted some kind of silicon seal between the skirting boards and the Karndean flooring. It's worn out/missing in some places and I'd like to replace it, but I can't work out what it is. Karndean say they don't recommend using any seal and I couldn't see anything obvious in the DIY store.
Has anyone come across a product like this or could suggest what to look for?
NB It's not the kind of silicon seal you put in the kitchen or bathroom - it's a much thinner line.
