Best colour for kitchen walls

I have cream gloss kitchen units and black quartz worktops. The floor is a matt tile similar in colour to the units and the

window has a black vision blind which is open through the day. I’d appreciate suggestions for paint the walls please.

I’m not sure I’d change much to be honest. It looks fairly dark so I’d keep it to a light colour on the walls. Possibly a Greige or cashmere tone, perhaps with a hint of dusky pink for some warmth?

Pumice and Duck Egg Blues are timeless. Personally I love some of the darker grey-blue tones which are so popular at the moment and, I'm sure, will stand the test of time. Remember colour is a curious and complex thing. A swatch will never really do it justice, and one colour will look very different depending on how matte/glossy it is. The same paint will also look very different depending on the surface it is painted on! I think pale grey or taupe would look fab and it will keep your lovely room bright. Love the worktop. Farrow & Ball do some beautiful taupe and grey shades. Whatever colours you like, get match pots and paint them on A4 card and place them on the worktop at different spots so you get an idea of how the shades work with the worktop, rather like Carolina’s idea. Here’s a couple of pics. I don’t know the colours but hope it helps.
