What colour is the feature wall behind the bed please? It looks like a bold black/dark green.

Dear Paul,

We used Farrow and Ball, Stiffkey Blue No281 Estate Emulsion.

A sophisticated colour, at home in both modern and traditional homes.

You could go lots of ways with this kitchen.... You have good light and it looks lovely and warm..... I would personally go for a neutral then you can dress up or down with accessories. Have a look at rolling fog, Mirage II, Dorchester Pink and Clay by Little Greene.

Hi Vicki, I agree with Jules that it would look great to complement the wallpaper by carrying on with dark colour on the walls. I thought these could work hiding by your pictures: Mylands-Bond Street no.209, Marston&Langinger -Smoke Blue. As a lighter alternative you could look at F&B Stiffekey Blue (it would compliment the teal colour without being too strong).

We actually tried soft truffle but it came out looking very purpley…we’ve had that happen with a couple of other rooms in our house and it’s kind of become one of our pet peeves 😂 Our carpet is a beige/cream colour, and the furniture and curtains are also cream. We’ll add colour through cushions and ornamental items so don’t mind everything else being very matchy.
