What kind of interior style would you call this?

What kind of interior style would you call this? And what colour scheme/styles of furniture would bring the room together? The plan is for a larger TV to be mounted on the wall. Please ignore the old white tv unit at the back of the second photo! Thanks

Hi there,

I would say Modern too but for the colour schemes I would suggest neutrals for walls and furniture.

Hi guys! Pesonaly I like multifunctional options in design when you don't have to stuck with same layout forever once it's been done and always proposing this idea to our clients.I like modular furniture because it gives you such an opportunity . Modular furniture can be used in living room, kids room. I am not sure about the kitchen - we all get used to traditional way of design. But why not?

I like too many things so I suppose mine is eclectic. My absolute delight is the Art Deco Moderne style; beautiful veneers, chrome, mirrors, fabrics and shapes, unfortunately I'm far to untidy and clumsy to live with it.

Modern Industrial with a hint of Nordic 😀
I’d keep walls and furniture to soft greys and neutrals, with gold details. For a pop of colour I’d use a single colour to accessorise - either a dark blue or a dusty pink

Modern contemporary minimalistic industrial. I love the colour on wall if changing keep it bright and neutral. Grey leather modern sofa or brown leather would look very cool or grey fabric. Nice big flat weave neutral rug adding pops of colour with cushions on sofa.

The tv unit is modern, whilst the table is modern/industrial. The plant pots are Nordic, as is weave in the rug.
So if you’re looking at the two largest items in the room (the table and tv unit).
I think you could say your dominant style is modern industrial.
Contemporary just means what’s happening now. So not actually a style as such. Because it can change.
