White tiles on kitchen floor
Comments (9)Hello, Sealing is a good way to protect grout lines, although while it helps protect the grout from staining, it isn't a magic solution and there will always be upkeep (especially with white grout!) If you're wanting the floor to appear flawless, then lay the tiles with as tight a grout line as you can (2/3mm) and this will also help with keeping the grout white as there's less of it exposed. We've found that using a hard bristle brush to clean grout lines is a really effective way to keep them clean. I hope this helps. We have a wide backsplash selection in our showroom, including Dekton, Silestone, Cosentino (and more). If you'd like, come and check out the samples before you make your decision. We are based in SW London. Good luck!...See MoreTile colour suggestions for rustic kitchen
Comments (10)I feel there is perhaps too much colour and pattern. I think going for a french country look with white walls, including the brick, blue additions in accessories and for the fabric. I think Zelig tiles in an off white or blue or even pink would suit your kitchen. I would go for a small gingham print for the skirts in a blue, green or pale grey. A thin country stripe would also go well. Just keep the palate simple. Zelig tiles have a lovely pearlised hand made look (first pic). There is a beautiful magazine called Country Homes & Gardens which showcases lovely cottages and other country houses and a great place to get ideas. Pinterest is also good for ideas and is free. Comments (8)Another vote for the warmer wood colour nearest your trainers ;-) Could be my screen but the other tiles look a little too grey and cold especially with an all white kitchen. You could go for a Californian beach house look, with neutral natural textiles, wood, white, soft warm greys and beiges with muted colour accents.
