what colour goes with F&B Skimming Stone?
Comments (20)Skimming Stone looks stunning with blues, including navy, and also pink/red colours. If you think of it as a berry tone, it looks great with everything else in that range: blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, gooseberries and green leaves. Also, I can vouch that it goes well with Strong White. I have Strong White in my hallway, and Skimming Stone in my living room. I agree that Elephants Breath is ver ‘lilac’, but it works when contrasted with Strong White and All White....See MoreRoman blind fabric to compliment F&B Skimming Stone walls

Comments (11)Hi Tani, I know this is a bit late and you may have resolved the issue, but I showed your pictures to my plasterer stepson and said that when the original plaster is added to the wooden laths it is pressed amongst the wood so the plaster mushrooms out the other side, thus holding the plaster onto the wood. He said if it was his wall he would patch the areas without plaster with Hardwall, a sandy backing plaster, pushing it through the wooden lathes letting it mushroom out. Let it dry hard, then finish with a top coat of Multifinish. He did say he would come round and have a look, but I do remember you are oop north? I must say I rather like your idea of panelling but of course that is a bit more work....See MoreCarpet to go with Farrow and Ball Skimming Stone
Comments (7)The Castle Grey is 100% wool (quite pricey too). The other one is a more lustrous finish but isn't a flat colour either - it's not really possible to tell that from the pic though. The Riviera range is gorgeous. I must've borrowed every sample from the local store before deciding on the Castle Grey. It's quite slim so suitable for stairs as opposed to the chunkier carpets, which would have made the stair treads look bulbous. Good luck with your decision :)...See MoreDaisy England
