Vaulted/sloping bedroom ceiling paint advice please

We have a lovely but very awkward bedroom to decorate! It has zero flat ceiling, it’s entirely vaulted to a high point. We have one full height wall (of which half is given over to door and built-in wardrobe). The other walls go up about 3 feet before the slope starts, and there are also chimney breasts jutting in at a different height.

We’d planned to paint all the sloped parts soft white and the flat walls F&B Oval Room Blue, but doing the base coat has made it obvious that the walls and angles are very uneven and the colour break would not look great.

Some online research suggests it would be best to paint walls and slopes all the same colour. The room desperately needs some colour, but would doing it all in the Oval Room Blue be a bit much? Should I resign myself to a light neutral all over then add colour with furnishings? Is there an alternative solution? We have a wooden bed and otherwise white furniture (built-in wardrobes being painted white). Thank you for reading this far and for any advice! (Excuse the mess in the pic)
