New Kitchen mock up

Hello! I have mocked up the new kitchen we will be getting. We have the option of putting a breakfast table onto it, which is basically a plank of wood protruding from the front to create a little table, and stools under. But I think it would look better as I have mocked it up? Without the breakfast bar/table? We don’t need one, as this is part of a longer open plan room. What does everyone think?

Comments (15)I agree with darker - I think the reason the light door PP posted looks good is the style. A light colour with a modern design wouldn't have the same effect. This a Cromwellian house in Herefordshire fitted with one of our stainless steel Letterplates and the door colour looks great with the black and white. The porch timber is paler than the rest of the house timbers (you can just see the black window frame to the right) and is a modern addition but as it's still a shade of grey it all works well together. Comments (8)@Jonathan - The frames and door are nearly 25 years old, and so are coming up to being ready to be replaced (almost all other houses on the estate have moved over to uPVC). @Sven I'm not mad on the door colour. It's previously been black (a little boring) and pillar box red (which I preferred). @Man about the House, thanks for the picture. I guess I need to do some mock-ups. Are there any free/straightforward to use tools that people on here use for that sort of thing (i.e. not Photoshop).
