Hi. Nice paper but as the room is east facing the silver may look just a little cold? If you do go for a pale but warm stone on the walls I might go for a stone wallpaper. This one is cream but may work as the pattern looks to be in stone (but will look elsewhere). I really like the idea of papering just behind the bed (missed that before, thought you just meant the bed ŵall!) but I do think you'll need to build a frame for it from beading but that will be cheap to do. I wouldn't go excessively low on the light just for people sitting up/climbing into bed but you should get away with slightly lower than normal. Hi, Completely understand why you want to keep the views for you to enjoy in your living space! Just to add another option into the mix... how about knocking the wall down between the living room and the dining room to create an open-plan kitchen/living space with a dining table? Depending on how big the two adjoining rooms are, could this give you a bigger kitchen? This would also open up your entrance area and feel a lot brighter.
