Comments (18)Hello Dennisha, Oh I say... I think you could easily transform this bathroom.. One thing though, I do actually like the tub.. Could you keep this? Tile round it in a new and exciting marble or travertine. Keep it's step too or even make it a bit wider. Add a half glass screen plain for the shower.. Wall hung loo and basin. New taps... New mirror although the shape is not bad, maybe it could go somewhere else. One thing that would change the feel is if you had a roman blind or a venetian blind here instead of the curtains.. Have included a few things like tiles... basin and some fantastic nickel taps I love.. If you choose a really tasteful sink that comes from a cheaper place, you could add a more expensive fitting... A few ideas for you : )) You get the look for less... http://www.tilemagic.co.uk/tiles/natural-stone/marble.html http://www.bathstore.com/products/euro-duo-700mm-basin-1026.html http://www.lefroybrooks.co.uk/products/ranges/1930-mackintosh/...See MoreCan you put white timber effect bathroom tile with walnut vanity unit?

Comments (10)Hi. I'm a bit confused, have you bought the vanity and are looking to paint it? Is the rest of the bathroom fitted as you could add brass or copper taps for instance with a matching mirror? Accessories will also warm it. I like a little wooden stool in a bathroom which you can add accessories to i.e. A candle, natural sponge, flannel etc which has some texture. A plant on the window sill if you have one and then nice accessories for the sink and either some coloured towels or I like hammam ones. I've found a couple of pics but they may not post as houzz has issues :( These are using deep rich colours which may bring the cabinet towards you a little. A darker top for the vanity would also work...See MoreUpdating a small, white-tiled bathroom and colour advice please.

I bought a new sink and vanity from IKEA: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/washstands-taps/wash-stands/fullen-t%C3%A4lleviken-wash-basin-cabinet-white-spr-39891444/ However, it's occurred to me since that it'll take up too much of the room/floorspace, especially as the sink faces you as you walk in. I've been looking at other designs, and the wall-hung sink with a nicer-looking chrome waste could be a much better option. Added to this, if I'm tiling the floor, I'll probably need to buy a new loo, and IKEA doesn't do matching loos. Therefore...where can I buy a basic loo/basin package? What's the difference between a 'toilet and basin' and a 'cloakroom suite'? Should I go for one or two tap holes? Am I wasting my money? Should I just update the taps on the existing sink and tile-box in the waste?...See MoreHU-789010218
