TV on Kitchen Wall
So we’ve had the kitchen done and totally repainted.
In our haste we totally forgot the aim was to have a TV on this wall (ignore the box, it’s our extractor lol. There will be a dining table here though)
So we want to avoid an ugly cable going up the wall, we don’t have the room to create a false wall, and we don’t want to chase a cable now we’ve painted.
Is there another solution, or are they realistically our options?

Comments (21)i think it will be awesome if we can put TV on the kitchen or dining room, but guess the noises inside the kitchen couldnt compete with TV which is better way to connect living room with quite wide TV and the kitchen, so theres a way to watch the TV through kitchen or dining room as well...See Morehow to style this living space
Comments (7)Wow- I love the space. Personally I would have several areas for different purposes:- I would have a couple of fireside chairs for a cozy drink and chat. I would have a central guest sitting area- orientated towards the view. I would keep the dining table where it is and in the other glazed corner have an intimate TV area for everyday use. Comments (7)Changing the worktops to a light colour will make all the difference. I've just had a new kitchen installed and even in a small area - about 2.5 metre sq - having a white worktop has completely transformed the area. The previous matt black surface just absorbed all the light. I've painted the walls white as well (previously a creamy colour) and now the area is so bright I've had to buy a blind for the window! Therefore, I'd suggest staying with the layout and looking at the colours for your new kitchen rather than creating unnecessary openings that will mean you lose cupboard space or other rooms. Comments (4)If we didn’t get flush, which I don’t think we will, then looking at how close we can get it to the wall with a rigid TV. It will be a 32-37” TV realistically. We just don’t want an unsightly gap, so really stumped on the best bracket, and really a good TV that doesn’t have one of these “power banks” separate We might be being very stupid, but life never use to be this tough!...See More

2 years agoAs far as I know there are 2 choices, either chase the wall, put the cable in it then replaster, or you can get cable trunking which does the job but not as aesthetically pleasing. Industrial metal trunking is quite attractive in an industrial style building (last pic).

2 years agoWe have just had a Samsung frame tv fitted on wall. Super thin has a clear single fibre optic cable which leads down to unit under plinth and shows pic or photo when not in tv mode.
