Where in the country are you?
A quick Google shows the London Door Company - and they seem to have good reviews.

London door company, horrendously expensive. You can buy these original doors in eBay, but some of them are expensive (£1500-£2000 depending on design stained glass etc....) due to the originality of the door being 120 years old. Just watch out for twisted doors and make sure the depth or thickness of the door will fit your existing frame. And obviously the length and width if the door

I have done similar in the past with an internal door (it was one with stained glass at the top, a bargain even if it didn't fit) If you are handy with a plane then it should be possible. I would recommend stripping all the paint off the door before you start. When you add the wood strips use a good external quality wood glue and sash cramp them to the door. I would recommend that you go slightly oversize and plane down rather than try for an exact fit straight away. Once you have got it to size, drill and screw through the strip and into the door for additional strength, also making sure that any hinge and lock screws go far enough to get into the original door. A decent external filler over the joins sanded down and then paint.

I used to restore stained glass and I worked with a few joiners who would remove the glass, drop it off to me to restore then refit whilst they are doing the door repairs. Others would prefer that I remove the glass myself and temporary glaze - it all depends on the joinery company. You can have the glass pieces repaired insitu, but I only recommend it for 1-2 panes if the rest of the panel is in good order. It's only meant as a temporary measure and weakens the lead. You can request that the lead be darkened after restoration, so it doesn't look so shiny and new if that bothers you. Not sure where you are based exactly but I can recommend a joiners in Shrewsbury who cover various parts of Wales if you're that way..

Hi, I really agree with the above statements about changing the roof to match your garage and potentially the door too. However, a cheaper and less time consuming solution could be just by adding some wall lights to the outside, to which would tie in with the rest of your beautiful homes features.
