I want to have a new modern
en-suite . Plz help me in tiling please . I like soft colours but donot want to give it dull plain look . I am confused what to do

I think the problem is that everything here is white which isnt helping break it all up especially as its a small space so id suggest these soft pale blue tiles in the layout that they have them here for the walls it will add style, a break in the white and a bit more pop to the room.

It's a great space and I agree with Naturally Allard the bathroom needs a bit of colour to break up the white. I love the blue tiles they've suggested.

You dont need to tile the whole space and could look at painting the walls or even adding some panelling to break up the texture of the space. I've added an image below that uses a sage green but you could really choose any colour you love and make it much softer or lighter. Adding in some other elements like the penny tiles and grid bath door would elevate the space as well.

I agree that it is unusual now to find a new house without one but I think if you have space to put an extra shower room elsewhere so that you still have more than one then it should be okay. Ideally somewhere not far from the master bedroom. Also like the suggestion for you to put in all of the pipe work etc so that it can easily be added later. If you dont get round to it upon resale then atleast there is less work for a buyer.

Can you sketch the whole room with the dimensions? Getting rid of the shower wall should be relatively easy, unless it's supporting something up above it. ( however, it does not appear to be thick enough for that and probably isn't ). You can cut down the vanity length and then possibly move the shower for better access. Depends where the door and window are, how wide the room is etc.

It really comes down to how many clothes you have and how much space you need to store them, along with where you prefer to get dressed and how you use your ensuite - obviously no point having double sink if you never share the bathroom, but if you're brushing your teeth while the other half is doing their thing in the next sink then this bigger ensuite might work better for you. It all depends on how you want to live, how much stuff you have and where you want to store it. Thank you both for these ideas, I definitely agree with the blue tiles to break up the space and add some depth. Does anyone have any recommendations of retailers?

Those specific tiles that I suggested are from b&q but there are other places such as Homebase, the range, tops tiles
