Design Dilemma Bathrooms Renovating

need a new ensuite

I want to have a new modern
en-suite . Plz help me in tiling please . I like soft colours but donot want to give it dull plain look . I am confused what to do

I think the problem is that everything here is white which isnt helping break it all up especially as its a small space so id suggest these soft pale blue tiles in the layout that they have them here for the walls it will add style, a break in the white and a bit more pop to the room.

It's a great space and I agree with Naturally Allard the bathroom needs a bit of colour to break up the white. I love the blue tiles they've suggested.

You dont need to tile the whole space and could look at painting the walls or even adding some panelling to break up the texture of the space. I've added an image below that uses a sage green but you could really choose any colour you love and make it much softer or lighter. Adding in some other elements like the penny tiles and grid bath door would elevate the space as well.

Thanks for taking the time to look at this. I'm happy with the overall layout. I'm just wondering whether we could go longer on the shower tray so it almost spans from wall to wall? the space between the walls is 2070mm which we wouldn't get a standard tray to fit. Think the largest is 1700/1800. This would leave us with some spare space to either just tile the floor or make a false wall with and perhaps put a recessed shelf or space within.

It really comes down to how many clothes you have and how much space you need to store them, along with where you prefer to get dressed and how you use your ensuite - obviously no point having double sink if you never share the bathroom, but if you're brushing your teeth while the other half is doing their thing in the next sink then this bigger ensuite might work better for you. It all depends on how you want to live, how much stuff you have and where you want to store it. Following with interest! I have something similar that needs renovating, but in an apartment, and no window - around 3500x1200. Personally, I wouldn't swap the loo and shower (I always prefer a loo to be near a window (!) and wouldn't lose a window ie valuable ventilation for the sake of a slightly bigger shower, but obviously it depends what's important to you). Maybe half tiling the non-shower areas is an option? The bathroom fitter may have clever solutions for fitting the right size tray into that width. Good luck!

Thank you both for these ideas, I definitely agree with the blue tiles to break up the space and add some depth. Does anyone have any recommendations of retailers?

Those specific tiles that I suggested are from b&q but there are other places such as Homebase, the range, tops tiles
