Dulux Timeless on a ceiling?

Hello, I'm thinking of having Dulux Timeless on our north-facing kitchen walls. There will be no coving or anything at the join with the ceiling so I was contemplating putting it on the ceiling too. Will this work? If not, am I best to stick with brilliant white or similar? Thanks

We have Timeless throughout but white ceilings. Paint it and see what's worse could happen paint over it in white?

I have used 'Timeless' in my kitchen. It's a farmhouse kitchen with a beamed ceiling and stone look flooring, with oak kitchen units and black granite worktops. It's suits the kitchen very well as its not quite white. It has a chalky feel to it. I like it, but I would get lots of sample pots of the White shades and see how they look in the light of your room before committing. Good luck

Hi Kate, You could just embrace the dark side! Some battles are not worth fighting. We have a north facing living room too. One wall is almost entirely glass, but it's still the darkest room in the house. It had a very gloomy feel when we moved in a few years ago and we would have to put the lights on during the day even though it was a bright off white colour, but I've since painted it a dark slate grey. Now it looks great. It has a very cosy feel. I've brightened it up with pops of colour, lighting and mirrors. So sometimes I think its okay to accept that its never going to be a bright room and just add lots of artificial lighting to brighten it up. It also gives you the excuse to try out a deep rich colours which you might never have considered before!

A picture of the room would help, or a link to the video if possible. With regard to the shade of blue, I stalked a decorater round my local paint store while he was talking on the phone to his client trying to persuade her to go for Little Greenes Bone China Blue Faint in her bathroom against her white porcelain bathroom suite. He didn’t suceed but I liked it so much I’m going to use it in my bathroom. Given your reference to Wedgewood I think it could look amazing with light oak and brass curtain poles, etc. The paint colour comes in four different depths depending on how light or dark you want to go.
