pyrolytic oven next to fridge?

Hi, we have a limited kitchen space. I am faced with the decision of choosing a stack of 300mm pull out/ then single oven * microwave combi and then fridge in a corner next to utility room door or just pull out and oven next to door and the fridge across the room on a separate wall which makes the precious ‘work triangle’ a little large at 31 metres combined total length. My worry is that if you do a pyrolytic clean ( nuclear heat?!) , does it interfere with fridge?
Thoughts and advice much appreciated.

Hiya. It will be absolutely fine. The energy rating of ovens are showing their efficiency and that means they are highly insulated so as not to leak heat. Minimal heat will come out the sides and not enough to interfere with your fridge so no need to worry. Go for it

Thank you Emily. I just thought the pyrolytic would be really high temperature. I know pizza heat is about 260 so I am guessing it is hotter than this.
Do you see many fridges next to ovens?

We looked at Pyrolytic ovens, but needed 2 for the kitchen design so opted against it in the end. If they really do mean no cleaning though, thats worth it! However, we did buy our appliances from various locations! The dishwasher was included with the kitchen by homebase, as was an oven and a hob, but we sold them as the werent what we wanted, but they were free! We then bought two ovens (the same) and two siemens brand new microwaves, ex display and one advertised for spares or repair (apparently) one was £300, one was £90, both brand new, and £729 each RRP. Hubby fixed the broken one and its perfect now. The siemens hob was also ex display (new) at £250 RRP £1059 (from a local interior designers who had advertised them on gumtree) It can be done, but you should start looking, so you dont miss bargains :)

Thanks Tamp75, we originally had a 300mm tall cupboard separating the two but we had to change our design last minute because we need to make some room for a WC on the other side of the wall so need to take some space from kitchen. On paper we did have enough room but now the ceiling has been taken down, one of the ceiling joists will be sitting right on the edge of a wall that we were going to remove to make room for the WC - complicated. It’s too late to re-jig everything around so that is my only option. Hopefully ok.

With a handleless door 19mm is just enough to open the doors, but not enough to take out the glass shelves. We mostly sell Siemens and Bosch (they're really twins), no problems with the veg/freezer boxes. Some of my customers are ok with the shelves staying in, but others add a filler of thicker panels on either side of the tall cabinets. Because the thicker panels don't fit in the slim lined top and side panel of the cooking are, you could make the countertop 65cm deep, so it will stand out. I'd also suggest removing the vertical 'handle strip' on the left of the oven. Hinges on the left side, it'll be fine. Also, pick a fridge cabinet without the little panel on top. There'll probably be a gap when opening the fridge door, but it'll look better on the outside. (Have a shelf on top of the fridge and you can store some large plates or oven tray there, just make sure there's enough ventilation for the fridge.) Or.. Add another 'handle strip' on the right hand side of the fridge. And keep the strip left of the oven. Balance.

Happens all the time, if you're worried you can always get the silver foil for behind radiators and put it on the side of the unit
