Help in the living room

Hello, I moved flats already last November and I have been enjoying my new living room. There has been just one everlasting project I have not been able to finish. And that is to choose one last furniture…
On the posted photo you see that I have couple of books lying around next to the sofa which I would like to organise better. I thought a book shelf like the one I have attached would do the job and tidy up a bit but at the same time I want to keep it quite empty and minimalistic.
Any ideas on which furniture would look good? Also open to move lamps, coffee tables and poster around… The picture above the sofa will be nailed onto the wall later.
