A family friend has a two vintage Louis Vuitton trunks displayed in her LR, and they look fabulous. That said, stacks of vintage suitcases are not really my thing. I'm sufficently klutzy that I would probably knock them over on a regular basis. Plus it would be too much of a pain to use them for real storage and have to unstack them and open them whenever I wanted something. I also think that the stacked vintage suitcase thing is quickly becoming a design cliche. They seem to be everywhere these days!

Hi Alis It sounds like you have some great ideas for your studio flat. Geometric and vintage can work really well to create your own unique look – the mix and match approach to buying cushions and throws is key here! For an eclectic feel, choose one of each cushion design; mixing a couple of those different geometrics that you love, along with some textured options too. Adding a sheepskin throw to your chair is certainly a great way to add warmth and comfort. An alternative idea is to use a fur throw in more natural brown tones, bringing together those warm, wooden tones of your furniture with your accessories. Modern vintage room ideas

hi guys. The paint is symphony steel no 1 . The dimensions of the room are larger than it looks. It's an above average bedroom size, the walls along the chimney and opposite are slightly longer but not by much. My fear with moving the table to the wall you mention is that it will look really untidy next to those drawers, but I'll give it a go! Not convinced the colour of that sofa will go, but that's what I'm here for so I'll try and picture it later...budget isn't set really, but any ideas are welcome at this stage.! Thanks all
