Consider whether it is possible to provide access from the rear or side. We have recently installed a bathroom where the wet room style shower was immediately in front of the bath. This required bath panel to be fully tanked but this was made possible since there was a wardrobe behind where an access panel could be installed. This would provide an uninterrupted finish to the front. In my opinion, interupting the front of the of a tiled panel with an access panel largely defeats the purpose of the tiled panel. Alternatively, I would suggest tiling panel and then applying a thin bead of silicone all round, which can easily be cut with a sharp knife without damaging the panel if access is ever required.

I had a cream suite in my previous house and to modernise the room for sale, I painted the walls grey and got a grey wood replacement bath panel. In this house I have a similar panel and I just sanded it and painted with a satin wood paint. Perhaps find a grey loo seat, then colour match the panel with it? I will try to find the pics of the grey/cream bathroom and post them so you can see the colours together.

Such a talking point! A couple of thoughts on other options…. You could try sticking vinyl peel & stick removable wallpaper right on top of the Perspex. I have NuWallpaper in my kitchen as a temporary measure and think it would withstand your bath area just fine. It’s inexpensive and DIY. You aren’t likely to match the existing tile, but you could tile the area in a complementary colour. You could also create a design that incorporates other similar white tiles to tie it all together.

Using the same Bedrosian Sahara white tile for both the floors and backsplash in slightly different sizes, such as 12x24 for the floor and 3x12 for the backsplash, is a good choice. And given your aim to simplify, continuing with the same tile on the shower floor instead of introducing a new mosaic pattern would maintain a streamlined look throughout the bathroom. The uniformity of the tile will also help in making the space appear larger and more open, a common goal in luxury bathroom design. Hope this helps!
