Fairy is a must. But I buy the commercial Fairy Professional one which cleans in a fifth of the time. I whole heartedly agree with Miele. I regard Staub much higher than Le Creuset myself. E. Dehillerin and Mauviel for cookware and future heirlooms really. David Austin for roses. Felco for secateurs. For most things a bit of research really turns up the best products, some that you will never known existed that will become a staple in your life that you will use and use again.

I personally would not use any brand of eggshell paint on a kitchen cupboard, it is not robust enough for the job. Gloss or satinwood is what you should be looking at. I've always used Dulux, but have recently defected to Valspar ( crown ) at B&Q due to issues with colour mixing, colour matching. We have just painted our utility room using this including plastic pipework. It's holding up great. ( Valspar for wood and metal is what i've used ) - Just get a good all round primer which will be dictated to by the type of cupboard door you have - The Armstead range of primers at Dulux trade centres is great paint.

I've never understood the fascination with a range. For me an oven in a tall housing is much easier to use. Bending down with heavy meat pans is a no no. I have a Neff double oven but I have to say the grill isn't the best. I have a home in Somerset with a cheap CDA single oven in a housing and the grill on that is far better than the Neff one. Wouldn't swap an induction hob for anything else. Fabulous things.

Hello Charlie, Well.... If we're talking range then Wolf is my favourite. I also like a white Aga... Failing that Smeg are good. I have had one for 11 years.. Not the same one I moved.. but I do think they are excellent.. What I would look at first is how and what you like to cook as this will help you decide what size to go for... If you have the room go for a 6 burner see image.. These styles are dual fuel which I prefer, and think the Smeg oven is very reliable.. Have a look at a few models to see what you think, but I find them quite easy to clean and they fit the "chrome" look. So you might want to consider a double oven which is pretty useful when cooking a main dish and then say a pudding or canapes in the smaller of the two.... Price? You can get something starting at about a grand. :))
