Antique Brass Strainer Waste Kit to match Blanco sink

last year

I have ordered a white Blanco 1.5 bowl sink and a Quooker patinated brass tap. Does anyone know of a antique / patinated brass basket strainer waste / overflow kit that fits a Blanco sink as it only comes with stainless steel ones. Thanks :)

I imagine they come in standard sizes. What size does your sink need?

    Hi Becs,

If I recall from a conversation with my Blanco rep a while back, they were introducing a number of coloured wastes to match in with their various tap finishes. Not sure what all options they’ve now got (probably not every waste in every finish), but from bitter experience, I do know that there are literally dozens of different sizes/ shapes of strainer/waste with Blanco.

In the first instance, I’d give their UK team a call to check whether something is available. All their taps & sinks will have a barcode/code on them - make sure you have this before you call to make your life easier!

To actually purchase, you may then be directed to your local dealer, though this may not be the case of it is considered a “spare”.

Third party ones might fit, but could be a bit more hit’n’miss.

What sink model is it, might I ask?

    Hi again Becs,

With my Blanco Master Directory here and they do offer brass satrainers - codes are 203476 for single and 203477 for double bowl. BUT they only suit certain sink styles, so you would need to check with them for compatibility.
