Hi Julia, the wall color was original to the home when the tenants moved in, they are not sure of the color name/brand

You could go lots of ways with this kitchen.... You have good light and it looks lovely and warm..... I would personally go for a neutral then you can dress up or down with accessories. Have a look at rolling fog, Mirage II, Dorchester Pink and Clay by Little Greene.

In my opinion the round chair takes a lot of space, but if you want to keep it you have to declutter the area even more. As said above, the photos on the feature wall are not necessary. If you remove them entirely I think it would look better. I also think that you don't need the side table there. You could either have the chair or the side table, but not both in that corner. The big coffee table takes a lot of space and closes the room. I would suggest removing both the big coffee table and the matching side table and having the little yellow/green round table as your coffee table. It goes lovely with the cushions and the sofa. You can put a slim modern floor standing lamp between the chair and the sofa if light is needed in this corner. You do have some great furniture pieces and features in these room. Keep it simple and airy! That will bring the style in.

Hi Lucy - I think a lovely kelp rug like the one above would look great - they are hardwearing and don't show the dirt too much - or how about a sisal or seagrass rug that you can have made to measure with a border of choice (linen, leather etc.). You can 'build' your own rug on the Crucial Trading website. Hope this helps, Eliza

Ooh Ellie. Might be good to post your gallery wall inspo pick in the other thread. Think it was you who suggested a more eclectic arrangement might work well ?? Never thought of Covid blue, but def covid wall panelling. People seem to have gone crazy over it, all over Instagram - think it's a great effect for very little money but it will be interesting to see who starts tearing it off first.
