Main garden is driveway and parking

last month

Our bungalow is set back on the plot with 4 different garden areas all the way round, none of which are “done” yet. We have views to the north west from the garden, and views from the house to the east (to hills beyond the main road). The biggest area where the children play is at the “front” with the driveway. The main living area looks out onto this so would like to avoid looking at a car park, with us having 3 or 4 cars at the house at a time. We also have a shepherds hut that could be repositioned.

Looking for ideas on how to make the area feel more private without disrupting the views, and thoughts on how/where to park the cars? I’ve attached an older satellite picture showing the curtilage and 4 sections of garden, and a current photo of the driveway since the extension has been built. (There isn’t a roundabout on the drive now).

We do have a second access drive at the back of the house, but this option would need some internal reconfiguration to make a new designated house “entrance”. Currently the front door is straight into the open plan living space. Floor plan attached for reference.

Any thoughts would be very much appreciated, thank you.
