Small living space decor !?
Comments (8)Unless you want to put the tv over the fireplace, I would suggest a bespoke unit under the stairs to house the tv and also any ornaments to make it a feature. Pics attached just showing ideas. This could be dear unless you're good at diy so another option is to get a low unit to fit the space and add white shelves over the top to look as if they fit the space. I would consider moving the table and light by the window and centralising the sofa under the window. Maybe also add a coffee table or trunk to bring furniture into the middle of the room. In terms of decor what is your preferred style for people to help with paint and wallpaper? Are you keep all the existing furniture and curtains so does it need to tie in with the red?...See MoreHelp me decorate My Bedroom
Comments (10)Ok so your taste is a little more traditional. I still think greens and possibly duck egg blues will compliment that colour of wood as per these photos. If you want something a little warmer you could try a darker wine colour? You could try an Internet search for traditional style hotel bedrooms for inspirational ideas....See MoreHelp me finish off this space!?
Comments (10)I often lay out my pictures on the floor below the wall and use a tape measure for scale, then you can play about with the arrangement and take photos before putting anything on the wall! Or you can also use brown paper to make templates of your pictures and use frog tape (you can tape this to a wall without it damaging the paint) to stick them to the wall until you have your desired layout! Rectangular panels could be lovely, or maybe even a picture shelf? That would give you the gallery wall effect? Some examples below :)...See MoreHelp me decorate my living room! Comments (14)I think the Pinterest Instagram thing is a factor. It's easy to miss other options and there are so many of them, not to mention that in a year the dark blue thing will have passed and have been taken over by something else, possibly green. I think the most important thing is what colour sofas you get as you will probably have them for a long time. I like Minnie's idea of purple browns, and or browny pinks. So versatile and they would go with lots of things. Orange and violet (or burnt orange, cognacs etc and almost browny warm violets) are beautiful together and if they are muted look great with flashes of more saturated smaller items....See More- last month
