Hi, I think it looks lovely :) Your house will look fresh and modern. What a fab update. For the render, what about still going for fresh with white but with a softer undertone? Not cream, but a white with some cream in it? Not sure I explain properly :) For exemple, F&B Wimborne white is a softer white, not as stark. Still definitively white but softer. Maybe visit a pain shop (like F&B for exemple) with one of your stone and see what work with it? :)

My first thought was that I'd aim to match your door, windows, and boards, and that the pale grey you've chosen is a good one to go for. When I thought about it a bit longer, I remembered that your house is brick, not rendered. Pale tudor boards on a white house looks great, because it's a subtle contrast. Against brick, pale tudor boards would be a huge contrast. I wonder if pale grey windows and dark grey boards would work? It would show that you've considered the whole, rather than just replacing parts piecemeal, but it wouldn't be as stark as pale grey. Here's just the windows: Here's the effect with matching boards: And here it is with medium grey boards: I took the pebble grey and darkened it a bit. I think it looks quite smart! You could go lighter still, maybe just a shade or two darker than the windows. You could also go darker so it's more similar to the current effect, but clearly harmonised.

I think pale grey or taupe boards with white render will give a softer look. Not sure if they are an option with your supplier?

I actually don’t like the rendered house for several reasons. 1/ I think it is now absent architectural interest. 2/I think the pallet of colours is poor and the render does not match the roof and the grey windows don’t match anything. 3/ The little window above the front door looks like it’s in the wrong place but I bet previous wood detailing disguised that. 4/ when you start to change a streetscape you lose the cohesiveness of the neighbourhood which down values property. 5/ when one person does something radically different from the rest of the road it green lights other people to do what they want- so basically it’s breaking the social contract with your neighbours and saying people can do whatever they want …..which is bound to eventually result in a neighbourhood eyesore. Personally I think this rendered house is an epic fail.
