You could have a bit more width if you incorporate the alcove depth as a wardrobe and have a shallow cupboard between the top wardrobe 1795 wall and alcove cupboard?
Hi, my dressing room has the same layout as your 2nd pic, except I've got an L shaped corner robe in the corner which is very practical. It works well for me. A couple of pics.
Sliding doors are one way to go, but they take up a lot of depth for the tracks. We had a similarly tight layout with a radiator in the way and went for a bespoke setup from The Heritage Wardrobe Company to get around the awkward angles.
They can build around windows and alcoves without wasting any of those corner inches. Getting a proper floor-to-ceiling design usually doubles what you can fit compared to standard rails.
