Gardens Exteriors Design Dilemma

artificial vertical garden and wall panel to create depth on wall

I have a small yard with a wall 3m x 6m. I want to put up an artificial vertical garden mixed with wall panels and I want to create depth. Any ideas?

Hello webuser_348360, Reeve.. because they are one of my trade companies... Their wood is really lovely.. I have all their samples displayed in my bedroom which is a feature on the design page on my website! I thought that you might like to look at a variety of lovely colours and textures that might be of interest, as there's so much more than just a natural coloured floor..... With the chalky whites... Acre, Shirting and White Lead are all lovely creamy warm whites.. Also Slaked Lime, but it's less creamy and can appear cool... LG is low VOC and water based.. so nice for the environment and easy on the brushes! : ))

Patio looks too small, so if you can, extend it. That wall is lovely, but it needs plants, plants, plants! As suggested above, a 1 metre border all along planted up with climbers and shrubs and then underplanted with bulbs and flowers will cheer it up no end. You already have a couple of shrubs, so just carry on. Good all rounders that are tough as old boots are Viburnum tinus, Fatsia Japonica, Weigela floribunda, Photinia Red Robin, Hibiscus, Cotinus. Flowers for the front that are easy are Geraniums, Hemerocallis, Achilea and Geums. Good climbers are Tachelospernum (Star Jasmine), Clematis and Honeysuckle. Good luck! The other fence is hindered by the path which leaves no room for planting, so you could have some large pots filled with shrubs or bamboo. Keep them watered in dry weather. As for a pizza oven, why not! Great sociable way for having friends round.

Well they are better than mine to thank you 🙈 I agree, I was talking to Hubby and I think it’s the most sensible option and if we really don’t like it, we’ll look at the cladding but looking at the wall now, the pebbledash will remain until an extension so might as well embrace it 🤣 I don’t think I’ll remove the pebbles.. I’ll have to dash the paint on lightly or something. I’ll come back when I’m done with the finish 🤷‍♀️
