Hi everyone.
I'm new to this community. I've heard a lot of good things about people being very helpful here.
This is my first time posting. We are extending a bungalow to the rear for an open plan kitchen diner. The pictures attached with the conservatory is the current floor plan.
We are planning to extend 1.5m further than where the conservatory ends.I have decided go with the second kitchen with the widow on the exterior wall. Initially I was thinking of adding the concealed door to it but because I don't want to keep the sink or hob on the island ,I am thinking of giving the second kitchen a door from the other side (behind the snug zone. The other idea was to reduce the width of the bifolds and add sink to the garden side but I'm not sure if that would be a good idea.
I was thinking to keep the entrance to the kitchen diner via double door to make it feel grand but for that we will need to compromise the space where utility and wc is. Should I move wc understairs with an opening to kitchen diner and keep a linear utility drawn with dotted lines ? Or the other plan attached is fine?
I would appreciate if anyone could look at this floor plan with another perspective. We are open to all suggestions as we are at the planning stage and changes are easier to make at this stage
