We’ve been living in our house for a while and love it but the layout doesn’t lend itself to social living at all. We have a seperate kitchen and dining space (currently used as a playroom) where the wall can easily be knocked through but the room would be opened up but still slim - how can we configure the space (with the wall knocked through) to have an island? A breakfast bar? Some sort of inviting social area where we can cook and friends can hang with us and chat? Pictures are from the listing when we originally brought to help visualise.
