Has anyone got ideas on how we could create a wider hallway and relocate the kitchen? We’re not planning an extension — this would be an internal reconfiguration only.

The garage and the spiral staircase will remain where they are. We’re also not keen on moving the kitchen to the back of the house because we really like having the living area there.

One idea we had was to remove the laundry room and create a small laundry space at the back of the garage instead.

I’ve attached the layout I came up with — I’d really appreciate any thoughts or suggestions!
