House built on a hill and want to extend dining and kitchen but ground level is a long way down. Are foundations solid enough to build on? How do I find out?
So if you are building an extension you will have extra foundations built. Because of the slope you will have more expensive foundations and it might even be worth exploring building a room below. But it’s quite possible to extend on a sloped site
