Kitchen window coverings - help!!
Comments (4)It is the green room - I'm impressed! Another problem solved by the amazing Houzz folks! Would you go with sheer curtains? That's what we had before but as there isn't much space for them to hang at the sides wasn't sure if that was the best way to go! Tani - there were blinds there when we moved in but we never used them as we aren't overlooked, there is no streetlight glare and they were hard to reach. Plus they never looked like they fitted right (maybe they didn't!!). I'm happy to keep it bare. You'd never know from my house but I quite like minimalism ;-) xx...See MoreWindow coverings for bay window with door

Comments (8)Try IKEA Schottis blinds. They’re about 1m wide so you’d need several to go across your window. The black ones are fully blackout, the white ones aren’t. Best thing is they only cost £5. We used them in our bedroom when we were decorating/refurbishing. Worked a treat. They stick on with tape at the top - we used a bit of blue tac at the bottom....See MoreWindow covering help
Comments (3)I would go for plantation shutters in white. Its a stunning window with a beautiful view (apart from the wheelie bins). This way you can fold them right back during the day and close them completely at night. Is privacy an issue? If so you could keep the bottom part of the shutters across the window but open during the day. Another option is to get a carpenter around to see if making replacement solid shutters is a possibility....See More- 6 months ago
