I am confused are you looking to loose a bedroom to gain an ensuite? Assuming you are going to turn the bedroom in to the main bathroom I would keep all the walls in the same place but build a big cupboard in your new bathroom as overspill storage to the storage you have in your bedroom. Consider putting your washing machine in a cupboard in this bathroom to free up room in your kitchen.

You might be able to do something like the first pic? It might just work with the entrance door position? What is the exact measurement to the line? I don't think the room is wide enough for something like the 2nd option. I also like Jonathan's idea though which gives a lot of storage

Hi Emily, here are some pictures This is the corridor, we have tried to show the step back between the two walls, there is 877mm behind the mirrored doors. This is the end of the bedroom we proposed moving the bathroom to This end is where we thought the dressing area could go, blocking the first door from the corridor. We have taken down the stud wall that used to divide the room. En-suite which we proposed combining with corridor to make bedroom with door from landing at far end of en-suite. Any ideas would be gratefully received as we are going round in circles with our ideas. Thanks Amanda

Hi Nathan, so if I understand correctly you want to use you bedroom 3 as a dressing room that can be accessible from you master bedroom but ‘technically’ keep that as a bedroom for valuation purposes. In this case I would think keeping the planned door as is for bed 3 and installing a sliding or pocket door to access it from master- you may need to check the fire rating of this sliding door or install smoke alarm in bed 3. I would not bother with the proposed wardrobe in this case. Also if you prefer a bath, swap your shower with a bath/ adding both will reduce flexibility of space usage in future- the below layout will allow you to adapt the space but if having separate bath and shower is important then you may want to use the wardrobe space in master bed for shower considering you will have a full dressing room. Anyone buying in future can reconfigure if needed. But love the idea of a nice spacious dressing room! Go for it!
