Very nice job candicenorth! I am glad you are happy with the changes you made. Did you find a new spot for your birds, as chookchook2 suggested. Now that all your pictures on the hallway wall take notice, it does look a bit busy with the birds. They might look nice on the wall at the top of your first landing, if you hadn't found a new home for them. If you do consider there, they should be all on their own. Enjoy your new home.

actually the handrail should stay as is,just a spindles and balusters should be painted in white. the doors should be changed. that's a next step.
