Grey or neutrals would be perfect with the vanity. A textured finish or a marble/stone effect can add a little extra interest to help keep it from looking bland. Keep it to the one tile for a more restful calm experience. It’s a small space so if you use little bits of too many different colours/surfaces it’ll get more confusing to the eye. You can start with a seemingly bland base but I think that is quite sophisticated in that it’s not going to look overly designed. Less is more for understated elegance. Add really luxurious towels, soap, candles etc to create a lovely space. And don’t skimp on things you touch - taps, shower fittings, loo roll holder - all those touch points add up and contribute significantly to a more luxurious sophisticated experience.
