Comments (6)Wow, I love the European vineyard-esque details of this space. It is going to look beautiful when you are done! At Purehome.com, we specialize in hand curating paint palettes and furnishings that speak to your individual style- from what I can see, I would recommend these colors (which are available in Benjamin Moore). Overall, to accent the beautiful blue cabinetry, I would recommend using a paint with golden undertones- this will really balance the room out and allow that great piece to pop. We have a patented algorithm to get the perfect complements for you! http://www.purehome.com/ics-nw-10-interior-color-sample http://www.purehome.com/ics-ng-11-interior-color-sample http://www.purehome.com/ics-4-1-interior-color-sample...See MoreWhat colour would you paint this house?
Comments (152)Hi Nicky, my apologies I have only just seen your message. We went for cornforth white Farrow and Ball (which it definitely not white). The shutters are not back open yet but some of them will need to go back on because the large expanses of grey look very grey. The bits next to the white look less austere. The new white garage door with windows has made a big difference. I'd be careful with a very pale grey because if your windows are anything like mine you'll find that they are not actually that white after all.......See Morewhat colour would you paint this fireplace?
Comments (32)The dining area and the other area could be from two different houses. There’s definitely nothing modern about the dining area. Build in storage (cupboard on the bottom, shelves to the height of the picture rail) on each side of the fireplace. Change the chairs to a much simpler style. The cottage/country table cloth should be changed out for something less busy. If building storage isn’t possible, reduce what’s on the shelves and clear off the mantel....See MoreWhat colour would you paint these units?
Comments (7)Yes fascias = doors and drawer fronts and any end panels. Find a local supplier who can supply cut and edged board. That’s the cheapest method. They buy in the board, cut to size, and edge it on specific machinery, then drill in the hinge hole positions. You could look on the Egger and Kronospan websites for colours. Thousands to choose from all at different prices. I wouldn’t put Fablon on the worktop. It will end up getting cut and damaged. Regardless of the fact that you’re supposed to use a chopping board, many don’t and they also place hot saucepans on a worktop which again is something you shouldn’t do. If they do this on Fablon it will just melt it away and then you’ll be left with one huge messy worktop. Either replace the worktops with cheap ones or leave them as they are if they’re not too bad....See MoreLauryn Preller / Rep for Benjamin Moore
