TV panel

Hi,

I just wondered where this tv panel was bought from. I have not seen anything in the uk like it and love the simplicity of it. How do you get to the wires though. Love the project- great eye for details.

Hi Laura, thank you very much for your comments. The panel is a bespoke piece created by my joiner. It was constructed using the floor materials and aluminium trim. The TV and sound bar where purchased before hand but fitted afterwards, the TV is just wall mounted in the normal way with the wires etc fitted before the panel was built.

Dear Hiba. The images below might offer some ideas for your design; we had this made for our client by a local joiner. Cable management is to both the TV and speakers (not shown in these images - they were fitted later, but we had already sourced them so knew the relevant shelf spacing). We also knew dimensions of the TV and the bracket, hence the projection and size of the aperture. We had the option to fit all the hifi equipment, amplifier, blu ray, etc in the unit, but the base would have projected 500mm into the room, so we decided to run the cables in the wall and beneath the floor to a second cabinet out of shot where there was more space. Lighting is a great feature to consider - we recessed low profile LEDs into the shelves (only 8mm deep) so as to hide the fittings but you see the effect of the light. The other thought is to work out what needs to be stored there (hence shelf and drawer sizes), what can be displayed, and what needs to be shut behind closed doors or in drawers. Regarding drawers and doors, depending on your style, your joiner can fit knobs / handles, or you may choose push-to-open cabinetry. Hi. Its a lovely room, I preferred the table straight on where the sofa arms also didn't overlap tbh. I can't photoshop at all but it may give a very rough idea! If you want to paint then I'd go for aubergine on the dining wall and a lighter shade of the curtain colour on the rest and use green as your accent colour.. I'd put a round table between the sofa corners, I think something in white and oak would marry your dining table and tv unit but struggling to find something that's not obviously scandi in style! I'd pop a fat round lamp on there with a patterned shade with green in or a textured shade. It's hard to find something that will either fit in that empty corner or work on the long wall but this bookcase/display may work? I'd also add art behind the dining table

I would look to swap the tv and sofa position - as it's already been suggested a divider/feature panelled wall with the tv mounted/housed would look amazing and really help to make the room feel less corridor like and instead like a room in it's own right.
