Bay window blinds
Comments (8)Hello rejster, You might think about two paths here... either three blackout shades, one in the center with two on either side, or, if you can manage it, hang a single blackout shade above the bay opening to come down to the top of the cabinets. This may leave a little flash of light to either side (which might drive you crazy ) but it's a thought. You could, really, do that with drapery as well which would delete the clutter. Smith and Noble has several great options for shades and blackout shades and are all customizable. You can find them online. Comments (1)I think going for a plain look would really enhance the classic style. I hope the images below help. Patterns will make the area too busy....See MoreBlind/roller/curtain/other solution for awkwardly large bay windows
Comments (11)Lovely big windows! As others have suggested lightweight light coloured curtains wouldn't have the bulk of thick curtains, so wouldn't take up too much space on each side but they would help frame the windows. They would also still let some light in. If you had white or another light colour they would bring further brightness into the room. But you might only want them either side of the window. Also thought these examples of bay windows with roman blinds and simple curtains, still letting light in as the roman blinds could be in a voile like material or a neutral colour. That way you close off where privacy is needed and then have everything open the rest of the time. Hope that helps....See MoreN Foz
