Full picture's color on the back of sofa!

I can't see the full picture of color blended so do u have pictures without sofa of just the wall painting. Thank you

Hi Marina. I keep looking at the pics and can't work it out, do you have 2 or 3 sofas?! I think you could possibly get away with fuschia but the lamps will stand out a fair bit unless you add a little for other accessories. If you want something That blends a little more you could try a blush pink, it just depends on what look you want. Alternatively you could just pick up the colours in the curtains, ie charcoal lampshades and add some green in a cushion etc. I don't think the art looks bad in the room but not completely wow either, I think it would work really well in a silver frame though imo. I think the coffee table needs accessoring and I would add a much taller vase of flowers on the dining table. Is there also another place the display cabinet could go? The sideboard looks great but the cabinet detracts from it (as a focal point, not that the cabinet isn't nice!!). What size are the table lamps you've ordered as I think you need something with a little more height. Your new additions are looking great btw

Hi Maria and all Thank you so, so much for your advice. The arm covers are only ever intended to be temporary - something to keep kitty claws from ripping holes in everything. I would like off-white cotton/linen with lace. There needs to be something on the arms, so it might as well be a 'period' look. Now, although this isn't strictly design, but I decided to get rid on my modern phone and replace it with a period, retro GPO phone. See photo. I'm the very first person to put my hand up, when it comes to clutter! So, I hope I haven't overdone it with the phone. Incidentally, I'm still no closer to covering the sofa. I've decided I truly do need seat cushion covers, once again, because of my pets. It would certainly be a cheaper alternative to just use scatter cushions, but I couldn't get away with just that, and still the seats would have no protection. It's so difficult to choose the right colour. It needs to: a) go well with the opposite green wall, and b) work well with the rug (which I adore, and simply couldn't lose). [deep sigh] :)

My vote goes to Bumblebee, Burnt yellow or Real teal. Think those colours can go in either a light Scandinavian or a darker jewel toned interior. Orange is one of those colours that you can get bored of quite quickly, especially bright orange. The other colours look a bit too ‘dirty’ on my screen. Hope this helps. Hiya, The color of the sofa is lovely, you just need to create the appropriate surrounding palette. You could use a rug in grey colors, cushions is grey patterns as well, along with some pale pinks/ pale blush pink or light blue, teal would work. Combine different materials as well, like leather (faux leather) in brown tones but remember to mix them up with some more neutral grey ones. Brass, copper notes will create a more cozy and warmer look. Thanks, M
