Well you certainly have a GREAT sofa to start with - love it! There are so many directions you can go in with this sofa color and a green chair. I think before you do anything else you should have a color plan, a guide too direct you. I created an app called Color911. ( find out more about it at Color911.com) You can create your own palette of colors OR take/find a photo of something that inspires you and pull the colors from it.. or check out the color themes. Within the app are many pre-made color themes that are colors that all work beautifully together. You can choose any number of colors within a theme and use the colors for everything from wall color to accent colors to colors .. you name it. I have been an award winning color consultant and have authored two best selling books on color. I created the color themes myself. If you find a theme that inspires you it can be great fun to shop for anything when you have the theme to use as your guide. Each of the themes are different. I attached a color theme that has neutrals to match your sofa and green for your chair. There were many different themes within the Color911 app that matched this requirement, this is just one of them. I hope it inspires you!

Dear minnie101 sisal rugs look great. I would need two in my open plan area. One under dining table and one in living room area. What colours do you think I should get? We will be changing sofas soon. Buying a purply, mulberry colour sofa. Also going to eventually add a farrow and ball dark feature wall (worsted 284) and farrow and ball (skimming stone) to other walls. Our kitchen is a taupe colour. I look forward to hearing from you. hi Simone, sounds lovely , my recommendation would be to somehow incorporate all materials, colours, finishes you wish to include, where within scheme you incorporate each one matters less. E.g. Table can be black, chairs white or visa versa, Gather together on one page all items you'd like to include to achieve the desired look and see if your happy. If it looks good on paper, you are on right track and you should spot if something looks wrong. i think below photos is look you are going for so I think any combination will work lovely with green sofa, best luck
