Help choosing dining table and chairs please
Comments (8)I like options 1 and 2. If I'm honest, option 3 just wouldn't seem to do the rest of the space justice to my mind but that's just personal taste. Have you also thought of mixing a different style/period table with eames chairs or even mixing different eames chairs? The images i've found aren't quite what I had in mind but gives you an idea....See MoreHelp choose splashbacks, island lighting, island chairs
Comments (9)Hi Sheron, Kitchen is looking great - is it just just behind the hob you were looking to do? Couple of ideas: 1) could get a piece of clear glass cut to suit and screw in place (with rubber grommets to protect glass) - you can then use it like a picture frame and put photos/maps/postcards etc behind it - and change whenever you want 2) I'm still stalling on what to do with our hob splash back, so I've painted that section of the wall in matching paint, but in an eggshell finish. This means it's wipe-down and keeps the room quite minimal whilst I decide - but I might keep it this way! 3) tiles always look great and are very durable - I'd always recommend getting lots of samples before committing to any of them though 4) you could get a slab of the same worktop material to run up the wall? Re: the stools - whilst not very modern looking, they look fairly robust and reliable - so you could always investigate keeping these and painting these in your chosen feature colour?...See MoreCan you help me choose lighting for my lounge and dining room?
Comments (7)What a lovely home you have... here's another option that would look great above your dining table... The fabric shade will defuse the light and create a subtle ambience. You can adjust the chain so it fit's almost flush to the ceiling. Comments (3)There are some beautiful orange/red Persian rugs for sale but they are pretty pricey as they are hand knotted and take months to create. However there are some rather nice faux Persian rugs available now that mimic the real thing very well. As they are very on trend, many homeware shops sell them now like Next, Dunelm and even The Range (last pic). John Lewis sell some lovely rugs from contemporary to traditional. Worth a look just for ideas. They will create a lovely warmth to the room....See MoreHampstead Design Hub
