Hello Assia, If I was you I'd definitely look at hiring an interior designer/architect even to help you with this project. It sounds fairly major and you are best off getting someone who can spend the time it needs helping you to achieve what you want. Houzz has loads of interior designers, you can check out their reviews, get an idea of pricing and look at their previous projects before you decide to contact them. Many interior designers actually offer a FOC first meeting, so even if that's all you decide to do it may be worth getting someone to come and look at the house etc. Hope this helps!

I think that if you aren't having a utility room, then the focus has to be on the layout of the kitchen, storage and appliance position. It's not easy and i've really struggled with this one. I'm not a professional, but have been doing this for donkey's years with our own portfolio. I like the layout of the 1st Kitchen that Mallett posted, and think that would give a nice view from the snug. However, it doesn't give you that seating area that you wanted. I shortened the kitchen down to it's bare bones, but added a utility and storage area over by the entrance on the right. The position of the washing machine and tumble dryer may be a bit of a logistical nightmare, but I think for them to separate and out of the way of the main kitchen area with more storage to boot is worth exploring.

First, you should decide what you want by the doors..... dining table or sofa? The corner door opening..... putting glass in those corners doesn't allow furniture to go there. I wouldn't have a sofa against the doors as to me it defeats the purpose. I'd shorten the expanse of glass. Also draw it on paper to scale with a table to scale, the dining table you have there can't be to scale, it would take up at least 2.5 m of your 4m width,
