How to decorate this kitchen|living room
Comments (3)Hi Petra, the basics of your kitchen and living look great, I think you just need a few splashes of colour and texture to finish the rooms off! We'd suggest a roman blind in your kitchen window, art work above a radiator cover on the wall behind your dining table, and a large rug and coffee table in front of your sofa would make a great start. I have collated some product ideas for you.... art work coffee table rug faux orchid arrangements Hope that helps! PB...See MoreOur living room . Curtain plan ?
Comments (7)I think it would be a real shame to cover these stunning feature windows. Personally I would fit good lighting outside so that your view is drawn outside also at night. My curtain idea would be to use a custom made roman or roller blind, fitted above the windows and where you have enough wall width, fitted right under the ceiling. If you have a great view out of those windows, you could actually take a picture of it and have that printed on the fabric of the blind, so you still have the view once they are closed. Would be great to see what you end up choosing! Happy creating!...See MoreLiving Room Curtain Fabric
Comments (7)Hello there! I agree with you, I'd avoid trying to match the curtain fabric with your blue sofas/Persian rugs. It could make the room look quite dark overall, and also overshadow the beautiful rugs. You have such a lovely large window and as you have a privacy films over the bottom halves, why not try a light fabric, perhaps a voile or plain cotton fabric such as in the images below? I can't work out the exact colour on your walls, but if they are a warmer neutral paint then a warm toned creamier plain fabric will look best. White could be too stark. Here are a few fabric options, but there's plenty more to choose from on our retail website: http://www.janeclayton.co.uk/product/sevillewashable/125012 http://www.janeclayton.co.uk/product/linosoii/114217 http://www.janeclayton.co.uk/product/criste/122976 http://www.janeclayton.co.uk/product/kelso/124104 A wooden pole (if the window width allows!!) would also look amazing: http://www.janeclayton.co.uk/poles-and-tracks/wooden Good luck! :) Jess...See MoreAdvice for living room curtains
Comments (11)i think it's done an autocorrect on the paint colour, which one is it?,Is that wall painted a different colour to the rest? It's also hard to work out the sofa colour! I'm not sure if this fabric would work? I think I'd go for a green tufted footstool and add a tray And accessories. Not sure if this is the perfect one for the orange wood but just to give an idea. I think you need to repeat the orange, maybe for a copper lamp (can the sofa move away from the end wall a little?) and/or framed pictures. If you didn't like the footstool you could go for a painted table with wood top...See MoreSonia
