The kitchen island is often the focal point of the space and makes a big design statement. The shape of the island can change the look and feel of your kitchen dramatically. Which Stoneham island do you prefer?

I agree made.com is a good option, both for table/chairs and for a corner sofa which is the style I'd go for - modern, good way to 'zone' space, neat and comfy. The mendini was my favourite for style and comfort. Or Venturi though this was a bit bigger I think. Percy are lovely dining chairs, though Ikea now have similar & tables too so worth checking also. Too much choice sometimes.

Laura There lots of functions/ amenities on the plan which is great. Before making a proposal we would think about each part individually and ask how it needs to work for you, the way you want to live and how the spaces can benefit your experience. We note that you have already highlighted your desire to see outside from the island. Other questions might be- Do you watch TV? If so, do you see the Sun Room as a TV area or the Open Plan area? Would the seating area in the Open Plan benefit from full height views of the Garden? Would you eat at the Island? If so, would you like to see outside when eating? There is often a lot of questions but, this helps assess and balance the needs for all areas which would then help inform the ideal layout.

Many thanks for all responses, never knew one window size took so much thought, been struggling with this one, been looking at loads of picture on internet and one thing we have now decided on is a low sill, so this leaves us 4 options: 1) Still kitchen designers and architects favorite which no one else seems to like ! 2) Same as 1) but with cupboards at 120 to make same as tall untis on right and by some fluke leaves same gap either side of window 3) Sink no longer centered and encompasses draining board and bit more 4) Same as 3) but tiny bit wider so gap both side of window to units is the same, window is now pretty hues at 1200 x 1200 Any further votes much appreciated as now we have taken high sill out of equation most peoples favorite has gone which is a bit of a concern.
