New bed style advice

New bed just arrived. Headboard matches wall and curtains (hopefully!) but it's missing something. Cushion colours? Anything else I can add? Maybe artwork?

You could add some subtle pattern and colour in some cushions, and add texture with a throw. If you've got room a bench at the end of the bed looks good too.

Definitely missing some colourful cushions. Like the bedroom and bed BTW.

For the cushions you've chosen, I would buy modern sofa with clean lines in gray colour. The best place for sofa is the wall opposite the chimney breast and you can build the shelves on each side like on one of the pictures. Smaller sofa or two armchairs can be placed against the wall opposite the window. I would open the fire place and place there some wood blocks.

Thank you sort our stuff, I think that is why I was having difficulties in deciding what to have as the inside is a complete blank canvas. I think I have settled on the attached as the front door. Undecided on black or blue. I really like some of the modern ones but worried they would look too modern for the house. I will have a glass panel above the door and to its left. Also attached the internal doors I am considering. Thanks again for your response

Hi Tracey, Why not look at getting the Crittall doors in white to match the bifolds? I haven't got a close up photo of the Crittall system in white but I have a photo of a similar aluminium system in white which may be give you an idea of it being a suitable match to your white bifolds... The black can look a little stark against other white doors or windows but the style is such a great look it is well worth exploring the possibilities. Consider some larger, more dramatic, bedside lights and either a cover for the radiator or a more stylish modern one. Great headboard.

I agree add some colour and texture with a throw, cushions and a bench or even a small sofa at the end of bed, with more cushions will add a real wow factor. You could consider bigger bedside lights too. You've created a really lovely serene looking bedroom.
